Role overview
Our client is an international energy and utilities developer with an active pipeline of projects from bid stage through to financial close. They are looking to hire a Paralegal or newly qualified lawyer on a fixed-term contract to join the Dubai legal team that supports the group's project development work. The successful candidate will coordinate conditions precedent documentation on project finance transactions, prepare bid documents and short-form agreements, and support senior in-house counsel through to signing. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced career paralegal, or an NQ lawyer with up to two years' experience, to work on major international projects.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and draft conditions precedent documents on project finance transactions
- Draft and review NDAs, MOUs and other short-form agreements
- Prepare bid documents, form sheets and powers of attorney from company templates
- Prepare engagement documents for third-party advisers and consultants
- Support board meetings, signing instructions and execution formalities
- Assist senior in-house counsel on projects at bid stage and before financial close
Candidate profile
- Experienced career paralegal, or newly qualified with up to 2 years' experience
- Arabic speaker
- Projects or project finance experience preferred but not essential
- Familiarity with Legatics, Egnyte or similar deal platforms beneficial
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Based in Dubai
